About this role

You will be working with the After Sales team in Bengaluru.

This team runs on a hustle mindset with an objective to increase Exponent Energy’s market share in the city of Bengaluru, and help more people adapt to 15-minute rapid charging technology achieved by our Flexible Energy Stack, which consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station).

Responsibility

Dealer and Service Network Operations

  • Lead retrofit and after-sales operations across COCO and FOFO/DODO centers.
  • Ensure standardization of processes, quality, and customer experience across locations.
  • Coordinate with dealer principals, franchise partners, and internal teams to drive operational performance.

Retrofit Program Execution

  • Drive vehicle intake, qualification, retrofit, testing, and delivery processes.
  • Ensure retrofit targets, timelines, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
  • Escalate and resolve operational risks impacting execution.

Service Center Setup & Expansion

  • Support setup and operations of vehicle service centers, charging service hubs, and 3S centers (Sales, Service, Spares).
  • Coordinate manpower, tooling, infrastructure, and process readiness for new city launches and expansions.

Dealer & Franchise Partner Management

  • Manage dealer and franchise partner operations across the network.
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, KPIs, and operational standards.
  • Conduct reviews, provide operational support, and enable partner capability development.

Capacity, Inventory & Supply Coordination

  • Plan service center capacity, staffing, and operational readiness.
  • Manage e^Kit and spare parts availability across locations.
  • Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure uninterrupted operations.
  • Oversee IQC for incoming parts and inventory health monitoring.

Quality Assurance & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure compliance with IPQC standards, tooling calibration, EOL, and PDI processes.
  • Resolve operational issues during retrofit and servicing activities.
  • Drive corrective actions, root-cause analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

Performance & Customer Experience

  • Monitor KPIs including output, turnaround time, uptime, warranty closure, and customer feedback.
  • Ensure high service quality and smooth customer handover experience.
  • Drive training and capability development for technicians, drivers, and dealer teams.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the automotive or EV industry.
  • Strong understanding of retrofit processes and quality assurance standards.
  • Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive process improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficiency in inventory management and operational planning tools.
