About this role
- Develop and maintain actuarial pricing models for new and existing insurance products.
- Perform experience analysis on claims, exposure, premium, lapse, and other relevant portfolio data.
- Conduct rate reviews and recommend pricing changes based on emerging experience and profitability.
- Develop pricing assumptions, rating structures, technical rates, and pricing methodologies.
- Perform profitability and sensitivity analysis under different pricing scenarios.
- Support product development by providing actuarial inputs on product structure, benefits, exclusions, and pricing.
- Prepare pricing reports, actuarial notes, technical documentation, and regulatory submissions.
- Support regulatory filings and ensure pricing methodologies comply with applicable IRDAI requirements.
- Monitor portfolio performance against pricing assumptions and identify key drivers of deviation.
- Work closely with Underwriting, Product, Claims, Finance, Distribution, IT, and Risk teams.
- Support implementation and validation of pricing logic in rating systems.
- Identify opportunities to automate pricing and analytical processes.
- Present pricing results, recommendations, and key insights to senior stakeholders.
- Maintain appropriate documentation, controls, and governance around pricing models.
