Major Project Technician

Why this role?

KONE Malaysia is embarking upon an exciting growth phase and as such we are seeking a Major Project Technician to join our Service Maintenance team in Petaling Jaya. You will work in a small group of Field Service Specialists attending fault calls, completing escalator/elevator repairs, and servicing an allocated maintenance run. What will you be doing?

• Responsible for accurate and real-time back reporting of work performed to ensure accuracy of customer notification.

• Responsible for maintaining excellent relationships with customers.

• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

• Networking

• On-call support and standby availability

• Providing service and assistance as needed

• Willingness to perform overtime as required

• Handling and assisting external visitors, effective communication with all stakeholders.

• Manages daily workload with minimal assistance from Supervisor.

• Ensure safety at all times.

Are you the one?

• Have 2-3 years’ experience in elevator and escalator industry is an advantage. Fresh gradudate are welcome to apply

• Have a basic mechanical and electrical knowledge.

• Good customer relationship, service mindset, energetic, experiences in troubleshooting, team player, able to understand and follow instructions.

• Willing to travel.

• Possesses own transport and valid motorbike license.

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Have a basis digital foundation skill to use KONE system and application via mobile phone for work purpose.
