Maintenance Technician

Are you the person everyone calls when something isn't working?

Kinetic Custom Trailers is looking for a hands-on, mechanically inclined Maintenance Technician to help keep our manufacturing facility and equipment running smoothly.

You don't need to know everything or have a long list of certifications. We're looking for someone who understands how machines work, enjoys troubleshooting problems, and isn't afraid to get their hands dirty.

If you have experience working on manufacturing equipment, machinery, vehicles, farm equipment, heavy equipment, or similar mechanical systems, we'd like to hear from you.

What You'll Do

• Help maintain and repair equipment used in our manufacturing shop, including press brakes, plasma/CNC equipment, air compressors, and other metal fabrication equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical problems and figure out what needs to be repaired or replaced
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to help avoid equipment breakdowns
• Work with basic hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Handle general facility maintenance and repairs as needed
• Keep track of maintenance work and parts used
• Work with outside service providers when specialized repairs are needed
• Help keep equipment and work areas safe, clean, and organized

Licensed electrical work is handled by outside professionals.

What We're Looking For

You may be a good fit if you:

• Are mechanically inclined and enjoy fixing things
• Have hands-on experience maintaining, repairing, or troubleshooting machinery or equipment
• Have a basic understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, tools, or mechanical systems
• Can safely use hand and power tools
• Are comfortable working independently and figuring out problems
• Take safety seriously and communicate well with others

Manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience is helpful, but we are open to candidates with transferable mechanical experience.

Even Better, But Not Required

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Welding or metal fabrication
• CNC or fabrication equipment
• Forklifts or other heavy equipment
• Preventive maintenance
• Reading equipment manuals or mechanical drawings
• Industrial electrical troubleshooting

Schedule

Full-Time | Day Shift | Waco, Texas

5 × 8-hour schedule preferred; 4 × 10-hour schedule may be available.
