Maintenance Engineer

Position Summary:

Deeply involved in new electronic line design review, drawing review, performance test, installation and commission, spare parts identify to ensure project deliver and capacity ramp-up on time；

Manage high value and high accuracy spare parts, through spare parts repair, localization, downgrade unnecessary and unreasonable requirement and other methods to reduce maintenance cost continuously.

Production line complex mechanical failure solve, continuous improve availability/MTTR/MTTBF；

Responsibilities

Responsible for new electronic line introduction maintenance related work.

Participate in new line design review, installation and debugging tracking, production line function verification and acceptance, spare parts preparation, lesson learn summary.

Participate in improvement activities related to equipment and tooling to reduce equipment problems and cost reduction.

Responsible for new production line introduction MT related work, participate in new production line design review, installation and debugging tracking, production line function verification and acceptance, spare parts preparation, L&L summary.

Formulate and continually improve new line preventive maintenance plan.

Define min/max/ quantities,track long lead time delivery progress to reduce and control of breakdown risk of production.

Lead review spare parts cost and consumption to adjust inventory quantities.

Monitor and track daily downtime events, support long downtime problem solving and root cause analysis. 

Analyze trends of equipment performance and make action plans and strategies to improve. 

High value spare parts broken root cause analysis and repairement;

Support PS maintenance activities:complex issue solve, high failure rate unit re-design, optimize parts material and structure to prolong lifetime and cost reduction, necessary onsite RPS.

Share experience of RPS and new technology to technicians

Provide new line machine skill training to technicians

Qualifications 

College’s degree and above, major in Mechanical or related;

3 years+ for Bachelor or 5 years+ for College automotive background, 

Nice to have experience with manufacturing proceses of electronic (soldering, assembly, adhesive dispensing ,curing, pressing-fit,etc.)

Nice to have project management experience
