Machine Operator

Work Site: Fredericktown, OH
Shifts: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts available

Position Overview

We are seeking dependable Machine Operators to support manufacturing operations. This role involves operating simple machines, including washers, shot blast machines, and grinding and polishing equipment; handling materials; monitoring production processes; and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload washers, shot blast machines, and other equipment.
• Monitor machine cycles and ensure proper operation.
• Operate grinding, polishing, and buffing machines to remove excess material, burrs, and defects from metal or plastic workpieces.
• Grind, sand, clean, and polish parts and prepare surfaces for finishing using hand and power tools.
• Monitor machine operation, make adjustments as needed, and troubleshoot issues or report equipment requiring repairs.
• Transport parts and materials between production areas.
• Perform quality checks, inspect products for defects or damage, and complete packing and other production tasks.
• Follow safety procedures, production guidelines, and protective equipment requirements.
• Lift 20–25+ pounds regularly and perform repetitive tasks.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred.
• Good practical and mechanical skills.
• Comfortable with bending, twisting, squatting, pushing, pulling, standing for extended periods, and repetitive work.
• Ability to work in various weather and temperature conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions.
