Responsibilities / Tasks

The Machine Operator is responsible for the packaging of all products within all specifications, procedures, and set-up.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Follow all manufacturing procedures per GMP and FDA requirements.
  • Responsible for maintaining a constant flow of production consistent with established production and quality standards.
  • Prepare packaging materials in order to fill, seal, and palletize various packages according to manufacturing order.
  • Ensure that product is being filled in appropriate pre-labeled containers.
  • Monitor the appearance and fill levels of the materials being packaged.
  • Monitor the operation of the equipment being utilized.
  • Properly write up production tags with the amount of packaged product and accurately report on batch ticket.
  • May be required to assist with unloading of empty drum trailers and other warehousing functions.
  • Maintain a clean and neat appearance of the immediate work area.
  • Follow all safety instructions and procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $17 - $20 per hour.  GEA Group has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States. The pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary.  The estimated range is the budgeted amount for the position. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job-related reasons.  You may be eligible for additional rewards, such as discretionary bonus (based on eligibility) and/or equity awards.
