Logistics Assistant

As a Logistics Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with the day-to-day operations of the logistics department. Your role will involve inventory management, coordination of shipments, documentation, and ensuring smooth logistical processes to meet organizational goals.

Your responsibilities: 

·       Maintain and monitor accurate records of inventory levels.

·       Receive and process purchase orders.

·       Prepare and pack orders for shipping.

·       Arrange transportation for outbound shipments.

·       Receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments.

·       Ensure proper documentation for both incoming and outgoing shipments.

·       Prepare shipping labels, invoices, and other required documents.

·       Maintain organized records of shipping and inventory documents.

·       Conduct quality checks on received and outgoing goods.

·       Report any damaged or defective items and initiate returns or exchanges.

·       Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines in the workplace.

·       Ensure compliance with local and international shipping regulations.

·       Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse or storage area.

·       Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs.

Skill sets/Experience we require:

·       Previous experience in logistics or a related field is a plus.

·       Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills.

·       Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

·       Attention to detail and accuracy.

·       Effective communication skills.

·       Ability to work collaboratively in a team.

·       Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects, if required.
