About The Role

Journey Beyond is currently seeking Light Ridged coach driver (Coaster Bus) to join our Alice Springs team for the rest of our 2026 season. This position is central to ensuring a high level of service delivery for guests during our off-train excursions.

Key Responsibilities will include:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Deliver high standard of customer service to all passengers / customers, creating a positive experience on every service 

• Comply with company and department safety policies & procedures 

• Consistently ensure the safety of yourself, your passengers and your vehicle 

• Provide interactive and engaging day tours for guests

• You will be responsible for the complete operation and safety of the vehicle.

In addition, we expect you to be able to manage your time well and conduct pre-departure safety checks.  

About You

You will be a confident individual with excellent communication skills to actively engage with our guests, ensuring an excellent guest experience. Alongside experience in the transport industry, you will also have a passion for Alice Springs and its community. 

To be successful in this role, you must have:

• Minimum LR license & Driver Accreditation (NT H endorsement)

• Current Senior First Aid Certificate (or ability to obtain one) 
• Working with Children Check

• Satisfactory National Criminal History Check 

• Demonstrated coach driving experience 

• An outstanding safety focus, including basic fatigue management competency and a commitment to your own fitness for duty 

• Experience delivering excellent customer service 

• Basic mechanical knowledge 

• Ability to clean facilities to ensure customer satisfaction  

• Exceptional personal presentation and ‘can do’ attitude
