Job Description
The LIMS-E2 Machine Operator is responsible for the precise and efficient operation of the LIMS-E2 automated equipment, specializing in cutting, stripping, applying seals and crimping wire assemblies to specification. Primary duties include setting up the LIMS-E2 machine, loading the correct wire materials, monitoring production runs, and completing routine maintenance. Additional steps include adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance and quality output.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the LIMS-E2 machine for cutting, stripping, and crimping wire according to production work orders and engineering specifications.
- Adjust machine settings to accommodate different wire gauges, lengths, and crimping requirements as needed for each job.
- Perform quality checks on finished wire assemblies to verify conformity to company standards and customer requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions or jams, escalate complex issues to maintenance personnel when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of production runs, material usage, and equipment maintenance.
- Follow all safety protocols and ensure a clean, organized work area around the LIMS-E2 machine.
