Applying to this position will mean that you would be considered for a full time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position throughout all our facilities. This includes but is not limited Worthington, Upper Arlington, Hilliard, Campus Area, Gahanna, Westerville, New Albany and Dublin. 

*To apply for this position, we require that you have open availability to work Monday - Friday between the hours of 7:30am and 5:30pm for a total of 40 hours per week.

About the opportunity

We are now hiring LPNs for our Centralized Hiring program. The centralized hiring program allows for a unique opportunity that during a four week training period, you would train within multiple clinics and/or specialty areas. During these four weeks you will be in communication with your manager to provide feedback about your experience in the clinics. Ultimately you will work with the manager to find the right clinic for your permanent home at the completion of the training.

Responsibilities

Purpose: The Licensed Practical Nurse provides skilled nursing services to patients under the direction of a physician or midlevel provider, and provides a variety of related services to maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. The scope of the Licensed Practical Nurse includes, but is not limited to, nursing procedures and executing the patient’s nursing care plans, such as, sterile dressings, soaks, compresses, enemas, suppositories, oxygen therapy, catheterization, diabetic care, and pre- and post-operative care. 

Duties and Responsibilities:    

• Provide safe, high‑quality patient care within the LPN scope of practice, including rooming patients, obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering medications/IV fluids, performing treatments, and collecting specimens.
• Prepare patients and exam rooms; assist providers with examinations, procedures, testing, and real‑time documentation as appropriate.
• Monitor patient conditions, recognize and report changes or adverse reactions, educate patients within scope, and coordinate laboratory specimens, results, and follow‑up care.
• Maintain clinical operations by sterilizing equipment, managing supplies and inventory, supporting scheduling and clerical tasks, and adhering to safety, infection control, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrate professionalism through punctuality, teamwork, effective communication with supervisors, ongoing skills training, system usage, travel as needed, and completion of assigned duties or special projects.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a school of Practical Nursing
• Current Practical Nursing License in the state of Ohio
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards
• Knowledge of appropriate procedures and standards for the administration of medications and patient care aids
• Compassionate, team players who are focused on providing the best care possible for their patients!
