Job Status: Non-Exempt / Hourly

Compensation: up to $67,630/year

Primary responsibilities include:

  • 15-20 client caseload in a residential substance use disorder program.
  • Facilitate one or two mental health groups at the residence as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Conduct assessments on clients to assess their mental health needs.
  • Provide psychotherapy to those individuals to address those needs.
  • Perform and conform with medication self-administration with oversight duties as per policy.
  • Collaborate with the Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to address medication management issues.
  • Facilitate consultation and referrals with other providers.
  • Provide therapeutic intervention services when needed.
  • Provide case management services to support clients linkages to the community.
  • Must be able to maintain documentation in accordance with OASAS standards, maintain client confidentiality, as well as strong staff/client boundaries, and high ethical standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • One of the following certifications is required: LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT or NCC. Must maintain license/credentials at all times.
  • Minimum of one year experience in Substance Use Disorder Treatment or Mental Health Counseling. Experience with multiple age groups and various treatment modalities preferred.
