We are a fast-growing plaintiff-side law firm seeking a highly capable Legal Technology & AI Solutions Manager to lead the development, implementation, and optimization of the firm’s technology systems, artificial intelligence solutions, software platforms, and automated workflows.

This is a high-impact, hands-on role focused on using technology to improve productivity, eliminate repetitive work, enhance data visibility, and help the firm operate more efficiently at scale. You will work closely with firm leadership and departmental stakeholders to identify business challenges, design practical technology solutions, and manage initiatives from concept through implementation.

The ideal candidate is analytical, innovative, technically skilled, and highly resourceful. This individual should enjoy solving complex problems, experimenting with emerging technologies, and translating business needs into scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, design, and implement artificial intelligence solutions that improve employee productivity, client service, reporting, document handling, and internal business processes.
  • Develop AI-powered tools, assistants, agents, and workflows using large language models, APIs, prompt engineering, AI-assisted programming, and related technologies.
  • Build, test, and maintain automations using Filevine, Microsoft 365, Power Automate, Zapier, Make, APIs, webhooks, scripting, and similar platforms.
  • Customize, administer, and optimize Filevine, including project types, sections, fields, forms, templates, reports, permissions, workflows, and automation tools.
  • Maintain and optimize the firm’s CRM, communication, document-management, reporting, productivity, and other SaaS platforms.
  • Design integrations between the firm’s software platforms to improve data flow, eliminate duplicate data entry, and create more connected business systems.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, KPIs, reports, and analytical tools that provide leadership and department managers with meaningful operational insights.
  • Develop advanced Excel workbooks, data models, dashboards, reporting templates, and analytical tools to support performance monitoring and decision-making.
  • Design and develop internal applications, scripts, prototypes, or software tools using appropriate programming languages, APIs, low-code/no-code platforms, and AI-assisted development tools.
  • Research, evaluate, test, and recommend new software, AI platforms, and emerging technologies that may improve efficiency, scalability, accuracy, or client service.
  • Manage technology projects from requirements gathering and solution design through testing, deployment, employee training, and post-launch optimization.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system maps, workflow diagrams, standard operating procedures, user guides, and training materials.
  • Troubleshoot software, automation, integration, and reporting issues and coordinate with vendors, consultants, and outside technology providers when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and optimizing technology solutions in a business or professional-services environment.
  • Experience administering and customizing CRM, case-management, workflow-management, or other business software platforms.
  • Experience developing workflow automations using Power Automate, Zapier, Make, or similar platforms.
  • Experience developing AI agents, document-processing tools, retrieval systems, knowledge bases, or other AI-powered business applications.
  • Experience with APIs, webhooks, software integrations, data connectors, or automated data flows between SaaS platforms.
  • Experience with programming, scripting, software development, or technical solution architecture.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas, pivot tables, data transformation, dashboards, data models, and analytical workbooks.
  • Strong project-management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple technical initiatives from concept through completion.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to testing, documenting, and validating technology solutions before deployment.
  • Highly driven and resourceful, with a demonstrated ability to take initiative, independently research solutions, and deliver results with minimal supervision.
  • Team-oriented with a solution-focused attitude that welcomes feedback and is committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience in software development, AI solutions, workflow automation, systems integration, or similar technology-focused role.
