Working on the plaintiff side, you’ll be supporting individuals achieve meaningful outcomes for clients during important moments in their lives.

The Role

  • In this Legal Assistant position, you will work closely with our Managing Lawyer and play a key role in the smooth day to day operation of the practice. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Provide high level legal and administrative support to the Managing Lawyer.
  • Draft and prepare legal correspondence, court documents, applications, and reports.
  • Manage files end to end, including opening, maintenance, reviews, and closure.
  • Coordinate diaries, court dates, appointments, and critical deadlines.
  • Liaise professionally with clients, barristers, courts, medical providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a key point of contact for clients, delivering clear and empathetic communication.
  • Assist with preparation for mediations, hearings, and conferences.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing communications and general practice administration.
  • Support workflow efficiency and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor and support junior staff members as required.
  • This is a hands on role with real responsibility, ideal for someone who enjoys being an integral part of a close knit team.
