Job Description

Thuraya is a destination that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of Lebanon. Set within an ambiance of artisanal craftsmanship, the restaurant brings together tradition and modernity, offering guests an elevated dining experience through signature Lebanese dishes, elegant interiors, and a scenic outdoor terrace.

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of Thuraya and ensure an exceptional experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.

• Deliver an exceptional guest experience while maintaining the restaurant’s service standards and identity.

• Lead, coach, and motivate the restaurant team to achieve high levels of performance and engagement.

• Ensure consistent service quality, presentation, and adherence to operational standards.

• Monitor restaurant performance, sales, costs, and productivity.

• Manage guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally and effectively.

• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards.

• Coordinate closely with the Kitchen, F&B, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Support menu knowledge and product training to ensure the team can confidently engage with guests.

• Manage staffing, scheduling, attendance, and daily briefings.

• Drive upselling and revenue opportunities while maintaining a genuine and personalized guest experience.

• Maintain the restaurant’s ambiance, cleanliness, and presentation to the highest standards.

• Support events, special occasions, and VIP guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Restaurant Manager in a high-end restaurant, luxury hotel, or premium dining environment.

• Strong knowledge of restaurant operations and service standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

• Passion for hospitality, food, and delivering memorable guest experiences.

• Strong commercial awareness with an understanding of restaurant P&L, cost control, and revenue generation.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of Lebanese, Middle Eastern, or Mediterranean cuisine is highly desirable.

• Excellent command of English; Arabic
