Pay: $35.00 – $40.00/hour (based on experience)Pay Frequency: Weekly pay – every FridaySchedule: Monday - Friday: 7am - 3:30pm

What You'll Do

  • Lead daily shop operations and coordinate shift activities with the Fleet Manager
  • Supervise and support two or more technicians while remaining actively involved in repairs
  • Perform preventive maintenance and complex mechanical and electrical repairs on fleet vehicles
  • Update, manage, and close work orders while communicating with drivers and operations
  • Maintain, order, and manage parts inventory
  • Complete vehicle inspections and required safety documentation
  • Prepare and maintain accurate service records using fleet management systems
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and all applicable safety regulations
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support fleet operations

What We're Looking For

  • 5+ years of hands-on vehicle maintenance experience or completion of an accredited automotive or diesel technology program
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
  • ASE Certifications preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, including scan tool experience and schematic interpretation
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate manual transmission vehicles
  • Ability to provide and maintain required personal tools and toolbox
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and fleet management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Working Conditions

This role involves working in a mobile, outside and/or shop environment with exposure to dust, diesel fumes, noise, and mechanical materials such as oils and greases. Technicians must be able to perform essential job functions that include frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods, as well as lifting heavy objects and accessing tight or confined spaces. This position requires regular use of hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment. Technicians may be required to work at heights using ladders or elevated platforms and must be able to safely perform duties in various weather conditions. Due to the active work environment and movement of large vehicles, the ability to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace is required.
