Job Summary: Leading Process discipline. Active participation and involvement in proposal and bidding activities. Technical support during construction and commissioning phases as deemed required. Engineering being the core expertise, active involvement on a daily basis during the engineering phase in an EPC Environment on single/multiple projects as the case may be.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for planning, scheduling, monitoring and controlling all engineering activities of the process discipline
Interdisciplinary coordination and support team building exercise
Proactive rather than reactive. Highlight any issues or problems in front of the management so as to help take remedial action on time
Active participation in progress review meetings, technical meetings, client meetings, and vendor meetings
Support Procurement-related activities by assisting other disciplines in their preparation of Material requisitions (MR), Technical Bid Clarification/Evaluation (TBC/ TBE).
Support bidding team by assisting other disciplines in their preparation of RFQs and technical evaluation of bids.
Support construction by responding to construction site-related technical queries (TQ)
Review and comment on GES plus engineering deliverables on a case-by-case basis
Ensuring safety and quality of deliverables.
Participate in Value engineering practices such as value engineering, lessons learned sessions, Risk Assessment/Management Studies and workshops, constructability studies and workshops
Ensure Customer satisfaction and appreciation, and build on the company's reputation and image, thereby facilitating repeat orders and goodwill
Experience:
+10 years combined experience in Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power Industry
Experience working with GES plus/ EPC Contractors on Saudi Aramco jobs, SABIC and other reputed organizations
Experience as a support team during pre-commissioning activities
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (BS, BE or B Tech) in Chemical

Comprehensive knowledge of Process in all its aspects for Oil and Gas, Petrochemicals, Power, and Water Industries
Knowledge and sound command over Saudi Aramco, SABIC, SEC, DEP, Royal Commission Standards, Codes and Practices. HCISS Standards and Regulations
Knowledge and sound command over International Codes and Standards such as ASME, ANSI, API, AWWA, JIS, CSA, NFPA, FM, UL
Hands-on experience preparing process Block Diagrams (BD), Utility/Process Flow Diagrams (UFD/PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), Heat and Material/Mass Balance (H&MB)
Process Hydraulics and pressure drop calculation for incompressible fluids (liquids), GAS using software such as AFT Fathom, AFT Arrow or equivalent engineering software
Water Hammer/Surge Analysis using AFT Impulse/ Pipe net
Hydraulic Network Analysis using Stoner or such
Analyze, review, and comment on the Flow Assurance study for mixed flow cases using OLGA Software
Experience in Hysys simulation and modelling process with all required stream information, such as H&MB, Composition, Properties and other process parameters.
Provide process data to all disciplines such as Mechanical, Instrument, Piping and Electrical disciplines.
Active participation in 3D model reviews internally with cross-discipline and with the client
Active participation in value engineering practices such as constructability workshops, Risk Assessment/Management workshops, Lessons learnt sessions,
Actively participated in Safety Studies such as QRA, HAZID, ENVID, Hazop, SIL
