As a  Lead Engineering Technician here at Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will support System Level troubleshooting to the component level. Work will also involve troubleshooting Circuit Card Assemblies (CCAs); Test Station setup and troubleshooting. This role will resolve, working with a cross-functional team within Honeywell’s Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and CSC. This individual will also support ongoing and future modernization efforts in this role.

In this role, you will play a key role as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting for both hardware and software engineering, contributing to essential projects that drive the future of aerospace Navigation, Inertial Sensing and hardware systems.

  • Support the development, design, and debug of hardware in CCAs, sub-assembly and system level testing.
  • Debug sub-assembly and CCAs in system level assemblies.
  • Develop and execute troubleshooting procedures for functional testing of CCA, sub-assembly and system level products.
  • Develop and execute procedures for functional testing of sub-assembly and system level products. 
  • Continuously improve testing techniques and workflows to optimize efficiency and product quality.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot equipment to minimize downtime and performance issues.
     

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Minimum of 5+ years of industry experience in circuit card assembly testing or a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with hardware equipment debug and functional test.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and a willingness to develop expertise in advanced testing platforms and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with industry-standard software tools for test automation and system debugging.
  • Proficient in supporting and troubleshooting test stations, CCAs, sub-assemblies and system level products. 
  • Knowledge of electronics manufacturing processes and standards.
  • Associate of Arts (AA) or vocational or applied degree.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and processes.
