Lead Commercial Lending Servicing Representative

About this Role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Commercial Lending Servicing Representative to play a key role in supporting the seamless servicing of commercial lending products and delivering exceptional operational support to our clients and business partners

In this role, you will leverage your expertise in commercial loan servicing, problem-solving, and process execution to manage complex servicing activities, drive operational excellence, and help ensure accuracy, compliance, and risk management across the lending lifecycle. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you will contribute to strategic business objectives by identifying process improvements, resolving complex issues, and supporting a high-performing servicing environment. In this role, you will;

• Provide training, guidance, and day-to-day work leadership to less experienced Commercial Loan Servicing representatives, including support with interpreting complex policies, procedures, and loan documentation
• Research, evaluate, and resolve complex loan servicing inquiries and nonstandard issues within established procedures
• Serve as a subject-matter resource on complex loan agency inquiries, servicing requirements, loan documentation, financial services, and customer support
• Coordinate and reconcile loan advances and payments with member banks and customers, and process letters of credit accurately and within established timelines
• Support loan trades, assignments, and related servicing activities throughout the transaction lifecycle
• Prioritize team workflows, coordinate daily assignments, and provide mentorship to help the support team meet service, quality, and operational objectives
• Lead or contribute to the resolution of complex customer and operational issues requiring coordination across multiple teams
• Collaborate and consult with peers, business partners, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues, manage dependencies, and achieve shared goals
• Engage with internal customers to understand servicing needs, communicate resolutions, and support a consistent customer experience
• Work autonomously within established procedures, seeking direction from leaders when addressing highly complex, unusual, or escalated matters
• Exercise independent judgment when interpreting policies, procedures, loan documentation, and compliance requirements, and identify opportunities to strengthen servicing processes and controls

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Commercial Loan Servicing support experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
