Lead Automation Engineer

Job Summary Pune/ Pondichery (Hybrid) We are looking for a highly motivated Digital Automation Engineer to support and enhance our digital content production and publishing workflows. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication to help automate processes, improve efficiency, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality digital content. Key Responsibilities

 Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions for digital content production and publishing workflows.

 Create and manage scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline operational processes.

 Work with structured content and data formats to support content transformation and delivery.

 Troubleshoot workflow issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.

 Collaborate with editorial, production, and technology teams to ensure smooth project execution.

 Monitor publishing workflows and proactively communicate risks, dependencies, and potential bottlenecks.

 Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the content lifecycle.

 Contribute to process improvement initiatives and recommend automation opportunities. Required Skills  Problem Solving & Critical Thinking  Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

 Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Node JS, Extend script

 Proficiency in working with structured data formats such as JSON, and CSV.

 Solid understanding of HTML and CSS.  Experience with digital content creation, transformation, and publishing workflows.

 Familiarity with content management systems and publishing pipelines. Preferred Qualifications

 Experience with digital publishing, educational publishing, or content production environments.

 Familiarity with workflow automation tools and content transformation processes.

 Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and scripting is a plus.

 Experience working with XML-based publishing systems is an advantage. Experience: 8-10 years of relevant experience in automation, digital publishing, content operations, or a related field. What We Are Looking For
