Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily laundry operations and team activities.
• Ensure guest laundry, hotel linen, uniforms, and other items are processed accurately and on time.
• Monitor washing, drying, pressing, folding, and finishing standards.
• Inspect linen and uniforms for cleanliness, stains, damage, and quality.
• Allocate daily duties and monitor team performance and productivity.
• Ensure proper use, cleaning, and basic maintenance of laundry equipment.
• Monitor laundry chemicals, supplies, and linen inventory to minimize wastage.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and chemical handling.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure timely linen and uniform requirements.
• Train and coach team members on laundry procedures, quality standards, and safe working practices.
• Report equipment breakdowns, linen shortages, damages, and operational issues to management.
• Ensure compliance with hotel SOPs and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a hotel laundry operation, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Good knowledge of laundry equipment, chemicals, linen handling, and finishing processes.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage a diverse team.
• Previous experience in an international hotel brand is preferred.
