In this role, you will provide administrative and technical support for Lands and Right-of-Way operations. Using established procedures and guidance from senior Land professionals, you will maintain accurate records and agreements, support operational activities, communicate with stakeholders, and help ensure land-related requirements are completed efficiently.

What You Will Do:

  • Support crossing requests, maintenance work, and other operational Lands and Right-of-Way activities.
  • Coordinate document execution, filing, retention, scanning, indexing, transfer, and disposition.
  • Maintain accurate land records, agreements, stakeholder information, databases, and document repositories.
  • Prepare routine correspondence, notifications, reports, and operational support materials.
  • Research property ownership, agreements, stakeholders, surveys, and other basic land-related information.
  • Follow established procedures, develop foundational Land knowledge, and escalate legal, regulatory, contentious, or non-routine matters appropriately.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or professional land certification with limited previous experience, or five or more years of Land experience as a senior-level administrator, or a combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Foundational knowledge of Lands and Right-of-Way concepts, agreements, records administration, stakeholder coordination, confidentiality requirements, and company procedures.
  • Experience using records repositories, land databases, GIS, document-management tools, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong attention to details in maintaining accurate, complete, and well-organized records while following established processes and protecting confidential information.
  • Ability to communicate clearly, adapt to changing priorities, demonstrate accountability, and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Bilingualism in English and French would be considered an asset

Working Conditions:

  • Office environment.
  • Field-support environment with limited travel (<5%) as needed for training, regional office visits, stakeholder meetings, land title or Crown work, service-provider meetings, and site visits.
  • Frequently changing priorities and job requirements arising from operational, project, stakeholder, regulatory, or time-sensitive land needs.

Salary:

  • Ranges from $62,500 - $85,000 CAD for Ontario locations based on the candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
