About this role
WHAT IS ON OFFER
Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity for a Laboratory Technician to join our team in Liverpool, UK.
You will be responsible for carrying out analytical methods and standard operating practices without supervision to a high degree of precision and accuracy, ensuring that the effective and high-quality analytical service is provided to meet reporting deadlines on the various types of samples/commodities submitted to the laboratory for analytical evaluation.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Required Competencies
- Be flexible in terms of the ability to operate and contribute in a changing environment.
- Have good attention to detail.
- A team player, working alongside others with positivity and respect.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Have the ability to work with minimum supervision and be able to use your own initiative.
- Keen interest in Chemistry and/or other scientific principles.
- Solid numeracy and IT skills.
Required Work Experience
- Prior professional laboratory experience is desired but not required.
Required Qualifications
- Higher in Maths or English and 2 science subjects.
