About the Role

The ever-changing face of Canadian Health practices need someone seasoned to help us grow and modernize our port-folio of health products in the Pharmacy Division. New technologies are made available to the practician and the patient as well and you the solution to the puzzle if you are willing to accept the challenge of creating innovative and secure inter-relation between our different systems.

The delivery of new products and features is key to help growth our business and increase the satisfaction of our client base. Our new technologies and innovative practices need someone like you to help us deliver those in time and quality.

You will join a national team with state-of-the-art technologies and architecture to provide better solutions to our patient and our partners as well.

You’ll be a direct report of the Manager Technology Architect.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Get involved in the development of innovative system from end to end

  • Conceptualize and develop new initiatives to support the ever-evolving Canadian Pharmacy practice

  • Develop innovative and state of the art functionalities within modern systems

  • Ensure the good performance and quality of our mission critical systems

  • Integrate with various partner and apply security best practices

  • Participate in the design and improvement of our pharmacy software

  • Get involved in a thrilling and challenging product team working for the good health of Canadian citizens

  • Work with the latest and the finest architecture and technology stack of centralized system

  • Follow technical trends in the industry and maintain your technology expertise


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Information Technology (computer science, data sciences, or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum 7 years of previous technical or software development experience (.NET, .NET Core) with a strong foundation in and knowledge of agile process and principles

  • Strong AI driven experience

  • Experience delivering complex solutions, while making the case for intelligent trade-offs between delivery time/quality/scope and cost; can foresee escalations and proactively solve delivery issues

  • Excel in a collaborative and cross-functional setting, with an ability to co-create and execute with other business primes; interest in learning from others, and in teaching others

  • Well deserved in design patterns, best development practices, system design and integration

  • Understanding, training or experience of cloud (AWS, Azure, GSP) and local APIs, interface agreements, etc.

  • Knowledge on MS SQL Server, Aurora, PostGre SQL, MySQL

  • You have mastered development of full stack systems from the database to the presentation layer

  • You have experience in integration with third party APIs

  • You understand the concept of authentication using OATH2 and security

  • Experimented and talented Visual Studio user

  • Well deserved in design patterns, best development practices, system design and integration

  • You know your way around with modern source code manager such at GIT and SourceTree

Great to have

  • Experience in Pharmacy is an asset

  • Bilingual English/French is a nice to have

  • JIRA and Confluence knowledge
