PAY AND BENEFITS
- Starting salary minimum $25.700 per hour; adjustable for Kentucky law enforcement experience
- $850 annual clothing allowance
- $4562/year KLEFPF Fund
- 3 vacation weeks after 1-year probation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Citizen of the United States
- Meet qualifications in City of Ashland Ordinance #205, 2024
- Must be 21 years of age
- High school graduate or GED
- Valid driverβs license
- No prior felony
- Kentucky Law Enforcement Certification in good standing
- Graduation from a Kentucky Law Enforcement Council approved academy within the Commonwealth of Kentucky
- Retired Kentucky peace officers regaining employment with approval from County Employees Retirement System along with contractual requirements under KRS 95.022
- Non-retired officers agree to 3-year employment agreement
