You’re perfect for this position if you:
- Have a relevant degree/ qualification.
- Have administration experience.
- Are interested in working with SARS and becoming well versed with the SARS e-Filing platform.
- Have experience managing tax-related matters (preferred, but not mandatory).
- Are process driven and pay close attention to detail.
- Are computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Enjoy being a team player in a busy working environment.
Your role and responsibilities:
Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:
- Booking and attending relevant SARS appointments (virtual and telephonic)
- Managing the schedule of our tax practitioner
- Managing the administration of tax documents
- Supporting caseworkers with various applications with SARS, including tax emigration and AIT applications
- Processing supporting documentation
- Registering clients on SARS e-filing and on internal platforms
