Junior Project Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assess projects maturity against the chosen project management methodology and provide guidance for better compliance;
• Maintain custom tooling for project planning, status and risk reporting, follow up and organization of PM activities on project and portfolio level;
• Provide guidance to the teams on implementing the chosen management methodology and review their deliverables related to Project Management;
• Support the project managers to comply with IT Governance rules;
• Participate in the reviews of estimated costs, timescales, and resource requirements;
• Provide support in preparing and maintaining project plans and tracks activities against the plan, provide regular and accurate reports;
• Ensure that the monitoring of costs, timescales and resources is effectively handled and review the proposed actions when deviations are identified;
• Define and manage the change control procedure gaining agreement for revisions to the project from project sponsors;
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy. 

• Bachelor's degree in IT, or any related field;
• Minimum 4 years of PMO, Project Coordinator, or Project Management Support experience within IT or digital transformation projects;
• Experience supporting project governance, methodology compliance, project monitoring, and reporting activities;
• Hands-on experience with PMO and collaboration tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, Power BI, and ideally Power Automate;
• Good understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and experience supporting Agile ceremonies, reporting, and follow-up activities;
• Project reporting, dashboard preparation, and KPI monitoring;
• Risk, issue, action, decision, and dependency management (RAID);
• Power BI reporting and data visualization;
• JIRA administration and project tracking;
• SharePoint collaboration and documentation management;
• Excellent knowledge of the English language;

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working within EU Institutions, or public-sector IT environments;
• Knowledge of project management methodologies such as PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, Agile/Scrum and relevant certification in PM², PRINCE2, PMBOK, Scrum, or equivalent project management methodologies;
