About this role

Paired is a global staffing and recruiting agency that pairs remote work with top-tier talent. We help individuals from around the world connect with great companies that are looking for their specific skill set. Our mission is to provide great jobs to talented people, no matter where they are located.

About the company
Our client is a direct-to-consumer protective gear brand built for action sports: mountain biking, motocross, and snow sports. They design and sell CE Level 2 certified equipment for riders who want real protection without giving up style. Their growth runs on a high-output creative engine: a whitelisted creator program, an in-house AI creative team, and an external senior media buyer who launches and scales what the team builds.

About the role

You will build approved creative into Meta Ads Manager and keep the creator payout system accurate. The senior media buyer owns strategy, budgets, and turning ads on. You own everything before that: every ad set built correctly, named correctly, and ready to launch on time.

This is a hands-on Ads Manager role, not an upload-only role. You need to already know how to build campaigns, ad sets, and ads in Meta, including attribution settings, placements, page and Instagram identity, and URL parameters. Most builds run through AdManage.ai, an AI bulk upload tool that sits on top of Ads Manager. You will be trained on the internal systems. You will not be trained on Ads Manager.

This is an execution role, not a decision-making role. Every build follows a written spec: which campaign, which settings, which name, which copy, which identity. Every count follows a written rule per creator. Every pay check follows a fixed checklist. You do not choose settings, change budgets, turn ads on or off, rename things your own way, decide what a creator is owed, or improvise when something is unclear. If the spec does not cover it, you stop and ask.

The two traits that matter most are accuracy and speed. A wrong setting or a missed detail costs a launch day. A miscounted video or a wrong ad name means a creator gets paid wrong.

What you'll do

Meta Ads builds, which is the majority of the role:

  • Build approved creative from the tracker into the correct Meta campaign with the correct settings, naming, identity, copy, and URL parameters, following the written spec
  • Check the funnel stage of every video before building so nothing lands in the wrong campaign
  • Keep the creative tracker matching Meta at all times
  • Hand off built ad sets to the senior media buyer ahead of his Tuesday and Thursday launches
  • Fix Meta upload errors yourself: resolve or remove broken ads the same day and report what happened

Creator payouts and systems:

  • Count delivered creator videos and keep the retainer tracker accurate
  • Run a weekly check that the ad spend in the pay tracker matches Meta before Finance pays creators, and flag anything that does not match
  • Keep the creative tracker, Drive folders, and Motion dashboards organized and accurate
  • Flag inconsistencies, missing assets, or broken steps as soon as you see them

What we're looking for

  • 1 to 2 years of hands-on Meta Ads Manager experience. You have personally built and launched campaigns
  • Follows written direction exactly, without reinterpreting or improvising. This is the number one requirement
  • Extreme attention to detail. You build to the spec and check your work before you say it is done
  • Fast. Creative arrives daily and needs to be built the day it is approved
  • Comfortable owning a recurring process with financial consequences. You would rather flag and hold than guess
  • Handles Meta upload errors on your own using the error procedure, and asks the moment something falls outside it
  • Strong with Google Sheets and Drive, and quick to learn new tools such as Motion and AdManage
  • Reliable and consistent. Same hours every day, with status updates in Slack when something is done or blocked

    • Strong organizational instincts and real attention to detail. Small errors here turn into payout errors later
    • Comfort working in Google Sheets, including formulas and reporting
    • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, or the ability to learn the upload workflow quickly
    • Someone who follows a process exactly, but speaks up when the process itself is broken
    • Reliable, self-directed, and consistent once training wheels come off
  • Details
    • Part-time, 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday
    • Your 4-hour shift must fall within 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM PST, the same shift every day
    • Fully remote
    • One-week paid trial, then contract
    • First two weeks are SOPs, Loom walkthroughs, and supervised builds. After that you own the build queue and the weekly pay check independently
  • Work From Anywhere
  • Salary paid in US$
  • International Brands Exposure
