Junior Cost Engineer

Salary range: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00

As a Junior Cost Engineer at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Senior Cost Engineer, you will have the opportunity to:

• Perform the Cost Accounting on domestic and overseas operations including but not limited to entering and maintaining budgets, preparing monthly contract projections,, processing employee reimbursements, processing vendor and subcontractor pay requests, and monthly billing for work performed (time and material billing).
• Assist with the monthly WIP revenue recognition process.
• Set up new jobs, cost codes, and budgets, and perform ad hoc reporting and analysis for Operations and/or Estimating on an as needed basis.
• Maintain and reconcile the Petty Cash accounts and other accounts as required.
• Resolve discrepancies on invoices or reports by interfacing with other departments, project controllers, construction, operations, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Assist with internal and external audits.

 REQUIREMENTS:

• This is an onsite role and is located in Framingham, MA
• 4-year degree (or in the process of completing the degree)
• Construction accounting experience preferred but not required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of Word and Excel
• Must have strong organization and time management skills with the ability to work without distraction.
• Must be a team player and be motivated to learn with a strong desire to take on new challenges.
