The heart of the role
As a Junior Accounts Payable Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring the timely, accurate, and compliant processing of invoices and payments for our French entity within the PHOENIX Group. You’ll be part of a supportive, international finance team focused on efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Your primary responsibilities will be:
- Support the day-to-day Accounts Payable operations.
- Process supplier invoices from verification to payment release.
- Maintain accurate vendor records and assist in month-end closing activities.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations.
- Contribute to achieving service level targets and performance KPIs.
- Take part in initiatives to improve efficiency and automation in AP processes.
What makes you beat
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business is an advantage.
- Some experience in Finance or Accounting (internship or entry-level role).
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken).
- Knowledge of French is a plus.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and eager to learn in an international environment.
