Junior Accountant

LMW HR Group, a growing Group of Companies providing HR and consulting services to both Greek and international clients, is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join its team.

The successful candidate will support the day-to-day accounting and administrative operations of the Group, working closely with the Finance team across a range of bookkeeping, invoicing and financial administration activities.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior accounting professional or recent graduate looking to gain hands-on experience, develop their accounting knowledge and grow within a dynamic and professional business environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities.
• Record and process supplier and customer invoices.
• Monitor invoices, receipts and other supporting documentation.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable activities.
• Support bank and account reconciliations and routine accounting checks.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records and documentation.
• Perform accounting-related data entry and ensure the accuracy of financial information.
• Liaise with suppliers, clients and internal departments regarding invoices and supporting documentation.
• Assist with the preparation of basic financial reports and accounting information.
• Support the Finance team during audits and the preparation of relevant documentation.
• Maintain organized physical and electronic accounting files.
• Provide general administrative support to the Accounting and Finance function.
• Assist with ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.

• Educational background in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field would be considered an advantage
• 1–2 years of relevant accounting experience would be considered an asset. More specifically, previous experience in an accounting firm would be highly valued
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and bookkeeping processes.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting/ERP software would be considered an advantage.
• Good command of Greek and English, both written and spoken.
• Strong numerical aptitude, exceptional attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Quick thinking, strong analytical skills and the ability to understand new concepts, identify issues and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and effective time management, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively as part of a team.
