Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
- Perform conduit bending, cable tray installation, and wire pulling safely.
- Test electrical components and systems to ensure code and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with crews to complete projects on schedule and to specification.
Required Qualifications
- Journeyman electrician certificate.
- Working knowledge of the Canadian Electrical Code (CEC).
- Fluent in English.
- Valid driver's licence and eligibility to work in Canada.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team or independently when required.
- Physically able to lift, climb ladders, work at heights, and handle outdoor site conditions.
- Available to work Monday to Friday and for overtime when required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior oil and gas experience or broader industrial electrical experience in plants, facilities, or construction sites.
- Hands-on experience with conduit bending, cable tray installation, wire pulling, and troubleshooting industrial electrical systems.
- Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
- Supervisory experience.
- H2S Alive, First Aid, CSO, or Working at Heights certification.
- Willingness to work outside of Grande Prairie as needed.
- Availability for shift work, on-call work, and weekends as needed.
