About this role

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a key role in providing technical support and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint environments. Your problem-solving skills and expertise will be essential in ensuring efficient operations and effective collaboration within the organization.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm (40 hours)

**100% on-site, in-person position**

Pay range: $22 - $24 per hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and configure Microsoft SharePoint environments to support collaboration and document management.
  • Maintain and support SharePoint sites to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and customize SharePoint solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues, providing timely support to end-users.
  • Stay informed about the latest SharePoint and software trends to recommend enhancements.
  • Respond to and resolve help desk tickets efficiently.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot software problems using effective problem-solving techniques.
  • Work with team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of software applications.
  • Educate end-users on software functionalities and best practices.
  • Document and maintain accurate records of all support interactions.
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining Microsoft SharePoint environments.
  • Strong knowledge of SharePoint architecture, configuration, and customization.
  • Proficient in software support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Relevant certifications in SharePoint and software support are beneficial.
  • Solid understanding of software applications and their functionalities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
