The IT/IS Technician is responsible for Provides IT support, troubleshoots technical issues, and maintains company computers, software, and network systems.

This position reports to the IT/IS Manager and is part of the IT/IS Department located in Pasir Gudang, Johor and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues involving computers, printers, networks, software, and user accounts.
• Perform computer setup, maintenance, imaging, IT inventory, asset management, and manufacturing IT support.
• Provide onsite/remote user support, document service tickets, and support after-hours or night-shift requirements when needed.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Strong knowledge of Windows client/server environments, O365, and IT troubleshooting.
• Excellent diagnostic, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team-oriented with MNC/production environment experience and IT technician certification.

Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Office and production-based role requiring frequent deskside support, computer use, walking, standing, bending, and occasional lifting.
• Requires local travel and a valid driver’s license, with the ability to perform essential physical duties for extended periods.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• At least 1 year of experience in an IT role.

Bonus / Incentive Pay

Up to 10% of annual base salary 

This job is also eligible for bonus pay.  This is the target earnings as % of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions. 

This job is also eligible for a comprehensive package of benefits and specifically medical card, dental allowance and optical allowance.  Details regarding these benefits will be provided separately.
