Inventory Control Associate - 1st shift

Job Description

• Perform the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.
• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of received goods and reject unsatisfactory items.
• Lift heavy items and may operate a forklift. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weights and shipping charges and prepares goods for final shipment. Examines, stocks and distributes materials in inventory and on manufacturing lines.
• May prepare kitting packages for assembly production.

Your Responsibilities:

• Use documented work instructions and manufacturing execution systems for receiving parts.
• Assignments and processes are semi-routine in nature.
• Operate powered Industrial Vehicles to load, unload and transfer materials.
• Assemble product, deliver material to the production area, pick up waste, and deliver finished product on a scheduled basis following a set route.
• May also assist with changeover, provide tools and materials, and give any additional help needed to maintain standard work and keep the flow going.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 6:30am -2:30pm with occasional overtime.

You will work full time on site in Twinsburg, OH reporting to the Warehouse supervisor.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

A minimum of High School Diploma/GED OR 4 years of verified related experience Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening.

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

Typically requires a minimum of 4 years of related experience
