Internal IT Manager
About this role
Work where work matters.
We are a global technology group built for what's next, offering high calibre professionals the platform for high stakes work, the kind of work that defines an entire career. When you join us, you're not just taking on projects, you're solving problems that don't even have answers yet.
You will join an exclusive roster of talent that global leaders, including Google, Snap, Diageo, PayPal, and Jaguar Land Rover call when deadlines seem impossible, when others have already tried and failed, and when the solution absolutely has to work.
Forget routine consultancy. You will operate where technology, design, and human behaviour meet to deliver tangible outcomes, fast. This is work that leaves a mark, work you’ll be proud to tell your friends about.
We are looking for an Internal IT Manager responsible for leading the technology function that enables Beyond to operate securely, efficiently and reliably; owning IT support, infrastructure, software and vendor management, and the day-to-day operation of a compliant IT estate.
We look for people who embody:
Innovation to solve the hardest problems.
Accountability for every result.
Integrity always.
About The Role
Role Responsibilities
- Define, own and continually evolve the internal IT strategy and support model, ensuring alignment with business priorities, growth and merger and acquisition activity.
- Lead the planning, integration and change management of acquired businesses into Beyond's technology estate, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal operational disruption.
- Own the internal IT support function end-to-end, ensuring reliable, responsive and high-quality service to employees across multiple international locations.
- Act as the operational and technical escalation point for the IT team based in Romania (3 direct reports), providing hands-on technical leadership across the systems administered by the internal IT function.
- Oversee the design, implementation and ongoing administration of internal IT infrastructure, including SaaS platforms, end-user computing, collaboration technologies, networking and workplace technology.
- Own the design and administration of Role-Based Access Control across delivery centres in the Philippines, Romania and Argentina.
- Work closely with the SoC and Secure Advisory teams to support the delivery of compliance programmes and audits, ensuring the internal IT estate remains compliant with relevant certifications and regulatory requirements (including ISO 27001, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 20000-1, Cyber Essentials Plus and data privacy regimes), without owning the design of the security or compliance programmes themselves.
- Provide operational and technical input to the Secure Advisory team on customer security/compliance due diligence responses and Data Transfer Agreements, ensuring accurate, evidence-based input on IT-administered systems.
- Own the IT operating budget, software licensing, contract renewals, vendor relationships and technology procurement, ensuring investment delivers value, scalability and operational efficiency.
- Support business continuity and disaster recovery planning for IT-administered systems, working with the SoC on testing and continual improvement.
- Produce and maintain clear technical documentation, including solution designs, operational procedures and support runbooks.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements that enhance productivity, supportability and operational effectiveness.
As a Beyond leader, you are expected to embody our leadership ethos — supportive people management, shaping team direction, and championing our culture of innovation, accountability and integrity.
This role is designed for impact, and we believe our best work happens when we connect. While we operate a flexible model, we expect you to spend regular quality time on site (at our offices or a client location) for collaboration sessions, customer meetings, and internal workshops.
What Success Looks Like
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrable experience leading an internal IT function within a complex, multi-site or international organisation, with genuine hands-on technical capability across modern IT infrastructure and SaaS platforms.
