About this role

Beam is building the operating layer for an AI-native future. Our platform helps teams — from fast-moving startups to the Fortune 500 — automate entire workflows with self-learning agents that adapt in real time. We remove the drag of manual, repetitive work so people can focus on what actually requires human judgment. We're reimagining how operations scale: with clarity, speed, and intelligence at the core.

About the Role

GTM and partnerships are how that platform reaches the enterprise markets, and this is one of the highest-leverage seats on the team. The partner & business development motion is central to Beam's next phase of growth, and you'll help build it. The decisions you contribute to shape how fast we scale.
We've just done exactly this in Australia and New Zealand, standing up a new partner-led motion in-market — and now we want to replicate that playbook across more regions and verticals. You'll work directly with our GTM & Partnerships lead, taking projects from strategy through execution: framing the problem, running the analysis, building the system, and presenting recommendations to Beam's leadership. You'll help to size partner markets, build the operational backbone (pipelines, trackers, enablement), and help decide which partners and markets we lean into.

Strong performers are prioritized for full-time roles.

Responsibilities

  • Own projects across GTM and partnership strategy, end to end — from problem framing to delivery.
  • Map, segment, and size partner markets — system integrators, consultancies, technology alliances, and joint ventures — to identify where Beam should build alliances first.
  • Build the operational systems that scale the partner motion: pipelines, trackers, enablement assets, and intake processes.
  • Turn analysis into clear, defensible recommendations and present them to Beam leadership.
  • Synthesize market signal into a point of view on which partners, segments, and verticals to prioritize.
  • Partner with Product, GTM, and Partnerships to turn strategy into shipped motions that move the company forward.
  • Final-year Bachelor's or Master's student in Business, Economics, AI, or a related field — available for 3–6 months
  • Prior internship or working-student experience in strategy consulting, high-growth startups, venture capital, or a GTM/strategy function.
  • Strong analytical instinct: you break ambiguous problems into structured, defensible parts.
  • High ownership and a bias to act: you see what needs doing and move it forward.
  • AI-first execution: you use AI tools to multiply your speed and quality, and you keep finding new ways to embed them in your work.
  • Genuine curiosity about AI, GTM, and what it takes to build a category-defining enterprise company.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

Nice to Have

  • Hands-on experience with AI tools and agentic workflows in your own work.
  • Business-level proficiency in German or Spanish.

This is a key role at a pivotal moment for Beam, with the ownership and visibility to match. You'll have a real stake in projects from day one, a dedicated mentor, regular 1:1s, and structured feedback to grow fast.

Our culture is shaped by our values in action:

  • AI-native thinking — Every teammate thinks in agentic workflows, uses AI tools daily, and looks for leverage through automation. AI isn't just what we build, it's how we operate.
  • Customer obsession — We build with urgency and empathy, speak to customers early and often, and measure success through their outcomes.
  • Speed as a habit — We ship fast, learn faster, and prioritize unblocking over perfection. We favor small experiments with tight feedback loops.
  • Leverage-focused execution — We hire high-impact players, invest in the 20% that drives 80% of results, and value candid feedback.
  • Highly aligned, loosely coupled — We align on outcomes. You'll work independently, but never in isolation.
  • Data-driven, human-guided — We seek clarity over comfort, speak up early, and use feedback to grow together.

If this sounds like the kind of work you want to do and the kind of team you want to grow with, we'd love to hear from you.
