Why This Role Matters
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance while supporting key financial operations. As an Accounting Intern, you will assist with general ledger activities, account reconciliations, financial reporting, audit preparation, and month-end closing processes. Working closely with experienced accountants, you will develop practical knowledge of accounting principles, strengthen your analytical and organizational skills, and contribute to maintaining accurate financial records and continuous process improvements.
What You'll Do
Assist with preparing and posting journal entries, maintaining accurate general ledger records.Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities and financial reporting processes.
Help maintain compliance with accounting standards and company financial procedures.
Assist with internal and external audits by gathering, organizing, and reviewing supporting documentation.
Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and support process improvement initiatives and procedure documentation.
Perform accounting-related administrative tasks while collaborating effectively with team members and stakeholders.
What We're Looking For
To be actively pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree, preferably in Accounting, Finance and Banks, Business Administration, Economics or a related field
Microsoft Office knowledge
Good communication & collaboration skills
Demonstrated high reliability and self-motivation
Fluency in spoken and written English
Must be comfortable in interacting with others
