Summary
Perform critical Instructional Systems Design (ISD) assessments and technical analyses applicable to the KC-46 MTS. This role is responsible for executing the full analysis lifecycle, including Job Task Analysis (JTA), Training Task Analysis, and Training Systems Requirements Analysis (TSRA) to drive program readiness. The incumbent will maintain the integrity of all released ISD materials for proposal and program execution, ensuring full Task Traceability (T3M) from task identification through to assessment. This role actively develops proposal deliverables, including instructional solutions, courseware narratives, and technical documentation, leveraging Subject Matter Expert (SME) input to meet rigorous military training standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Conduct Technical Analyses: Perform detailed Job Task Analysis (JTA) and Training Task Analysis to define performance requirements and learning domains for KC-46 maintenance training.
- Execute Gap & Requirements Analysis: Conduct Gap Analyses to identify training deficiencies and perform TSRA to define the technical and environmental requirements for effective training delivery.
- Ensure Traceability: Develop and manage Task Traceability Matrices (T3M) to ensure all instructional objectives, courseware, and assessments are directly mapped to validated job tasks and customer requirements.
- Develop Instructional Content: Support the development of instructionally sound course materials, including objective hierarchies, syllabi, realistic scenarios, and valid assessment tools, in collaboration with SMEs.
- Proposal Support: Drive the development of ISD-related proposal deliverables, translating technical requirements into comprehensive instructional narratives and solution designs.
- Quality & Compliance: Maintain all ISD documentation in strict accordance with the established Quality Management System (QMS) and customer-specific ISD processes.
- Technical Collaboration: Interface with Site Management, Project Managers and SMEs to validate that instructional methods and sequences align with program technical specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the refinement of ISD departmental tools, templates, and processes to improve training efficiency and accuracy.
- Attends ISD-related customer interface and internal meetings and generate any necessary materials or slides for required presentations.
- Ensure traceability is maintained on all baseline and updated ISD documentation on ISD departmental processes, procedures, and work instructions in accordance with established Quality Management System (QMS)
- Works continual improvement in department by designing and improving learning tools and processes

Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Instructional Systems Design, Adult Education, or a related technical field.
- Experience: Five (5) years of experience in Instructional Systems Design, familiarity with military or civilian aircraft maintenance training providing Instructional Design Services as defined herein.
- Core ISD Competencies (Required within the past 36 months):
- Proven proficiency in conducting Job Task Analysis (JTA) and Training Task Analysis.
- Demonstrated experience performing Gap Analysis and Training Systems Requirements Analysis (TSRA).
- Expertise in maintaining Task Traceability Matrices (T3M) to ensure curriculum alignment.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (specifically for data analysis, complex formulas, and managing large traceability datasets).
- Analytical Ability: Ability to perform data analysis on raw, unstructured technical data and convert it into actionable training requirements.
- Self-Management: Ability to prioritize complex work requirements and manage multiple deliverables with minimal supervision.
- Communication: Strong ability to interface with SMEs and customers to extract technical information and present instructional strategies.
Security Responsibilities
Must comply with all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures. Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form. Shall not divulge any information, or afford access, to other employees not having a need-to-know. Shall not divulge information outside company without management approval. All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company provided resources.
- Incumbent must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
Work Environment
- Simulator High Bay area computer rooms and OFT simulator/training devices.

- Must have the ability to travel and work overtime as necessary.
- Must be able to sit and operate a personal computer for long periods.
