The Role
As an Instructional Designer within our Video Production Team, your primary focus will be on creating animated videos on Business Skills for corporate learning and training.
You will translate learning objectives into compelling narratives, write scripts that simplify professional skills, and collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), animators to ensure pedagogical integrity.
Responsibilities:-
- Analyze learning needs and collaborate with subject matter experts to translate soft skills and business methodologies into structured, practical, and engaging learning experiences.
- Write high-quality, conversational scripts for animated videos that maintain a professional tone while ensuring high learner retention.
- Create detailed storyboards that guide the production team, ensuring visual metaphors and animations directly support the learning objectives.
- Review video drafts (2D, 3D, and AI-generated) to ensure they meet educational standards and instructional clarity.
- Experiment with AI tools and interactive elements to enhance the efficiency of the design process and the impact of the final video product.
- A Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in Instructional Design, specifically focused on video-based learning or digital content production.
- Proven ability to turn dry business topics (Leadership, Compliance, Communication) into engaging, story-driven scripts.
- Deep understanding of ADDIE, Gagne’s Nine Events, and cognitive load theory as applied to multimedia.
- Excellent English (written and verbal) communication skills with the ability to present concepts to stakeholders clearly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment with evolving AI technologies.
