About this role

At Planteria Group, we help organisations reimagine their workplaces, making them more productive, healthy, and sustainable. From creating warm, welcoming reception areas to designing large-scale living architecture, we turn ordinary spaces into vibrant places where people genuinely love to be.

We’ve grown from a small family business into the UK’s leading interior landscaping specialist, transforming workplaces and commercial environments with the power of nature, to international expansion with operations in the US. Along the way, we’ve partnered with some of the UK’s, and now US’s most recognisable brands to bring biophilic design to life, from lush office greenery and elegant corporate floristry to spectacular roof gardens and living walls.

Our success is driven by a fantastic team of 185 employees internationally, and we’re continuing to expand. We’re now looking for passionate individuals to join us on this journey and help us shape the future of sustainable, inspiring workplace design.

Your Impact:

As an Installation Technician, you will play a key role in bringing interior landscaping projects to life, creating inspiring green spaces that enhance our clients' environments. Your expertise, professionalism, and attention to detail will ensure every installation is delivered to the highest standard. You will:

  • Deliver exceptional, beautiful plant installations and irrigation systems in line with design specifications and project requirements.

  • Maintain outstanding quality standards through proactive monitoring of plant health and installation quality, resolving potential issues before they impact the customer experience.

  • Create positive customer experiences by acting as the primary on-site contact, keeping clients informed, managing expectations, providing plant care guidance, and ensuring complete satisfaction through final project walk-throughs.

  • Champion safety and professionalism by following all company health and safety procedures, carrying out daily vehicle checks, maintaining company equipment and vehicles, and representing the brand with integrity at all times.

  • Ensure operational excellence by accurately reporting incidents, maintenance requirements, site challenges, and project outcomes, helping to maintain smooth communication between field teams and the office.

  • Drive effective communication by providing timely updates on project progress, site conditions, stock requirements, and plant health concerns, ensuring issues are resolved quickly and efficiently.

  • Support warehouse operations at our HQ in Henham, Bishop's Stortford when not attending client sites.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A strong ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, contributing positively to group objectives while also demonstrating professionalism and reliability in all interactions

  • A good level of physical fitness, enabling you to carry out manual handling tasks safely and effectively as part of the installation process

  • Practical, hands‑on capability with a reasonable level of DIY competence, including familiarity with tools and equipment required for installation work

  • Clear and confident communication skills, allowing you to interact professionally with clients and internal colleagues, ensuring smooth coordination and efficient project delivery

  • Strong problem‑solving abilities, with the capability to assess onsite challenges, think logically under pressure, and escalate issues appropriately to ensure high‑quality outcomes

  • You have experience working in a similar industry, which may include (but is not limited to): commercial or interior fit-out, building services, construction, renovation, landscaping, horticultural installations, infrastructure, manufacturing, or industrial environments.

  • A full, clean and valid UK driving licence is essential, as this role involves regular travel to customer sites using company-provided vehicles.

Additional requirements:

  • Availability to be able to work outside of standard hours during client installations if needs arise

  • Weekend availability if required to support installation demands

  • You must be able to commute to our HQ in Henham, Bishop's Stortford on a daily basis before travelling to client site.
