Your Role


The Inside Sales Representative plays an important role in driving revenue growth across Shiji's Daylight PMS and Infrasys POS product portfolios, primarily supporting sales operations across the U.S. and Canada. This is a full-cycle sales role responsible for generating and closing smaller new business opportunities while driving product attachment, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within Shiji’s existing customer base.


The position will generate a high-volume pipeline through consistent outbound prospecting and own opportunities from initial outreach and discovery through close, while consistently delivering against defined activity, pipeline, and revenue goals. Working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams, the Inside Sales Representative will use a consultative approach to understand customer needs, qualify opportunities, and efficiently advance the right deals through the sales cycles by leveraging data, using sales technology and AI-enabled tools, to manage opportunities,

maintaining accurate forecast, and maximizing productivity.


Success in this role requires a proactive, results-oriented approach, disciplined follow-up, and the ability to prioritize opportunities in a fast-paced, high-activity sales environment.


What You Will Do

  • Generate and close new-logo business through consistent, high-volume outbound prospecting, including calls, emails, and other outreach activities.
  • Build and maintain a self-generated pipeline to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
  • Rapidly qualify, advance, or disqualify opportunities to maintain pipeline velocity and sales efficiency.
  • Identify and close eligible product attachment, cross-sell, and expansion opportunities within existing Shiji customer accounts.
  • Conduct discovery-driven conversations to understand customer needs and deliver demonstrations of Shiji’s Daylight PMS and Infrasys POS solutions.
  • Consistently meet defined prospecting, outreach, and sales activity expectations.
  • Maintain accurate and timely opportunities, activity, pipeline, and forecast information within the CRM, while proactively identifying risks, next steps, and opportunities.
  • Develop accurate forecasts and deal plans that identify risks and opportunities.
  • Leverage sales technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to maximize prospecting effectiveness and productivity.
  • Build and maintain customer relationships that support opportunity conversion, account expansion, and revenue growth.
  • Partner with sales leadership and cross-functional teams to accelerate opportunities through the sales cycle.
  • Develop and maintain strong working knowledge of Shiji’s solutions and relevant
    hospitality technology market trends.


What We Are Looking For (Required Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of B2B sales experience in an SDR, BDR, Inside Sales, or similar role, including experience selling or prospecting technology or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions, and a proven track record of meeting or exceeding assigned revenue goals or performance targets.
  • Bi-lingual in English and Spanish, with advanced professional proficiency in both written and verbal communication.
  • Demonstrated experience conducting outbound prospecting, including cold calling, email outreach, and consistent follow-up.
  • Strong communication, discovery, active listening, relationship-building, and objection-handling skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organizational skills and the ability to manage and prioritize multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Highly motivated and results-oriented, with a strong work ethic, sense of ownership, and bias toward action.
  • Experience using CRM platforms to manage sales activities, opportunities, pipeline, and forecasts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

  • Experience selling hospitality technology, particularly PMS and/or POS.

Working Environment

  • This is an on-site position based at Shiji’s Mexico City office in the Polanco area. Employees are expected to work from the office Monday through Friday.
  • Working hours are aligned with the assigned U.S. and Canada sales territory. Depending on territory assignment, employees will work either from 6:00 AM to 3:00 PM or from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM to ensure appropriate coverage and engagement with customers and prospects across North American time zones.
  • Employees must be available and willing to consistently work the schedule associated with their assigned territory.
