Work Set-Up: Hybrid (2–3 days per week in office)

Our client in the Information Technology and Services industry is looking for an Infrastructure Testing Lead to support infrastructure and technical testing activities across Nutanix environments, virtual machine lifecycles, networking, disaster recovery, security, operations tooling, and migration. The successful candidate will bring strong technical knowledge across Nutanix technologies and experience supporting infrastructure resilience, security, monitoring, backup, and migration activities.

What you will do:

• Test Nutanix NC2, AOS, and AHV environments, including Prism Central, Prism Element, and LCM upgrades.
• Validate virtual machine lifecycle activities, including creation, starting, stopping, deletion, snapshots, cloning, and templates.
• Test networking configurations including VPCs, VLANs, subnets, east–west connectivity, and micro-segmentation.
• Validate Nutanix Flow and NSX DFW concepts within applicable network security configurations.
• Test disaster recovery and resilience capabilities using Nutanix Leap and replication.
• Execute planned and unplanned failover, failback, subset failover, and associated recovery scenarios.
• Validate RPO and RTO requirements across disaster recovery and resilience testing.
• Test security configurations including RBAC, AD/Entra ID integration, encryption at rest, and network security policies.
• Validate integrations and security operations involving CyberArk, SIEM platforms, Sentinel, and Defender.
• Test monitoring and alerting capabilities across Prism and X-Play.
• Validate Cohesity backup functionality and alert forwarding into operational tools such as OpsRamp.
• Support Nutanix Move migration activities from ESX environments.
• Test and validate restore processes from backup.
• Identify, investigate, and support resolution of infrastructure and technical testing issues.
• Coordinate technical testing activities and provide clear status updates on progress, issues, and dependencies.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate strong knowledge of Nutanix NC2, AOS, and AHV, including Prism Central, Prism Element, and LCM upgrades.
• Bring solid understanding of virtual machine lifecycle management, including creation, snapshots, cloning, templates, and associated VM operations.
• Possess strong networking knowledge covering VPCs, VLANs, subnets, east–west connectivity, and micro-segmentation.
• Demonstrate experience with disaster recovery and resilience concepts, including replication, failover, failback, RPO, RTO, and subset failover.
• Understand security technologies and practices including RBAC, AD/Entra ID integration, encryption at rest, network security policies, CyberArk, and SIEM platforms.
• Have experience with monitoring and alerting using Prism and X-Play, as well as backup technologies such as Cohesity.
• Demonstrate familiarity with alert forwarding into operational tools such as OpsRamp.
• Bring experience supporting Nutanix Move migrations from ESX and restoring environments from backup.
• Be eligible for BPSS clearance.
• Be able to work PAYE through an umbrella company.
