Industry Electrical Engineer Solutions for Industry (S4I)

Join our global Solutions for Industry (S4I) team and work with us to close the gap to a sustainable future. S4Is main focus is plant engineering for hydrogen projects and decarbonization projects on several industries.

Your key responsibilities

• Providing Electrical engineering expertise to multi-discipline industrial projects from feasibility studies, FEED, detailed design through to construction, commissioning, and handover
• Acting as senior/lead engineer on single discipline projects or sub-projects that are medium to large in size in both local and international environment
• Working closely with the assigned Project Manager ensuring that quality and deadlines are met

The preferred location is Espoo, but other office locations in Finland can be considered for the right candidate

You will join the Solutions for Industry Department, Finland/Global and will work on interesting projects that will drive the shift toward cleaner energy and a brighter tomorrow

Your key tasks will be: 

• Designing efficient and technically sound engineering solutions and supporting technical sales activities
• Leading electrical engineering within multidisciplinary project teams
• Serving as the primary customer interface for all electrical engineering matters within projects
• Executing and coordinating electrical engineering tasks, including including single-line diagrams, circuit diagrams, layout drawings, switchgear diagrams, grounding diagrams, cable routing diagrams, as well as various dimensioning calculations and material lists

For this Industry Electrical Engineer position you ideally have the following background 

• B.Sc or M.Sc. in electrical engineering
• Working experience within the field of electrical engineering for at least 6 years, ideally gained in chemical industry, Oil & Gas, power plant business, electricity transmission or similar
• Basic competence in Engineering tools in electrical discipline
• Knowledge of Medium Voltage Systems, Low Voltage Systems & Control Systems is seen as an advantage
• Knowledge of power generation and power grids is seen as an advantage
• Previous experience in electrical discipline in industry projects is seen as an advantage (Chemicals, gas transportation, green- and e-fuels, cement, steel, aluminium, pharmaceuticals, electricity production etc.).
• Business fluent in Finnish and English.
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop creative solutions in complex project environments
• Experience with budget management and resource planning and scheduling
