Job Description

Role Purpose

The Indirect Procurement Business Partner (IPBP) manages the full scope of indirect procurement (IP) activities of Russia, Kazakhstan, Georgia, Azerbaijan, Belarussia, Armenia, and Uzbekistan. The role covers

  • sourcing all cases above the country threshold,
  • across 9 indirect procurement categories,
  • managing annual spend of ca 30M USD,
  • for all BU/BA's in the country.

The role reports to the IP Manager of Sub-Region Tameruk, which is under Region AMEA.

The IPBP acts as the IP partner to the country leadership team and their requestors — ensuring that IP policy, way of working, and tools are understood and actively engaged with, which generates productivity, transparency, and compliance.

Key Accountabilities

  • Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, bridge local business requirements by aligning with global and regional category strategies in close collaboration with Regional and Global Category Managers (RFP, offer analysis with total cost of ownership, contract signing, supplier onboarding, phasing out, etc.)
  • Contribute to global and regional indirect procurement projects and continuous improvement initiatives, sharing best practices throughout the AMEA network.
  • Coordinate and manage OPEX and CAPEX projects from IP perspective.
  • Leverage digital tools: SAP, Ariba for e-Sourcing, e-RFP, e-Auction, e-catalogue, PPMCapex, Procure360.
  • Build and maintain advanced procurement dashboards in Excel and AI-powered tools — consolidating savings, spend, supplier performance, and PO compliance into one view. Make a strategy out of statistics
  • Develop and manage relationships with key suppliers; negotiate and manage contracts. Align local decisions with global preferred supplier programs and balance global framework agreements with local market realities.
  • Deliver IP sustainability targets and advocate for ethical procurement and corporate social responsibility.
  • Build and maintain strong and win-win relationships with business leaders and stakeholders — understand and challenge requirements, ensure category strategy alignment, and educate on IP policies and tools.
  • Provide local market knowledge and intelligence to the team, stakeholders, and regional/global category managers.
  • Deliver agreed savings targets with a Total Value Contribution mindset.
  • Track, verify, and report on financial performance, including savings delivery and budget data.
  • Maintain accurate purchase and pricing records via Excel, SAP, and Ariba.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement and all other company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, and guide stakeholders on IP Ways of Working.
  • Manage IP project and supplier risk in a 360-degree approach.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to Procurement Officer (if applicable) and requestors.
  • Engage in continuous self-development to meet evolving role requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • Preferably BSc. in Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, IT, and MSc. In Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Statistics, Econometrics, and Finance
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in indirect procurement
  • Excellent in English and Russian (spoken and written).
  • Very strong Excel skills. Proficiency in Ariba (e-Sourcing, e-Procurement), SAP, and embracing continuously evolving AI tools.

  • Sourcing strategy development, implementation, and supply market analysis.
  • Procurement policies, procedures, tendering, and contract management.
  • Financial measurements, business case development, and ROI analysis.
  • Legal and contractual knowledge.
