Job Description

As an OSHC Permanent Educator, you’ll work at our Point Cook service giving you the opportunity to build ongoing relationships with the families, children, your team, and the wider school community. From time to time, you may also have the opportunity to support nearby services across the region when additional support is needed.

Weekly shifts and hours: 15 hours per week, across Monday - Friday 2:45pm - 5:45pm after school shifts. Extra hours available during school holidays too! 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Diploma qualified ISS Educator to make a positive impact in this service, providing individualised and inclusive support to children with diverse needs. Leveraging your expertise of working within a high needs environment, you will play a significant role in providing children with opportunities to participate in learning and development activities at the service.

Qualifications

  • A genuine passion for working with children. 
  • A team player with aspirations to grow and learn in the role 
  • Hold or be willing to obtain a national police check (which we will cover!)
  • State working-with-children check. 
  • Australian working rights.
  • National Child Safety Training completion prior to onboarding (via Gecko)  
  • VIC Diploma-Level - Working towards or completed a relevant qualification to work as a Diploma-level Educator in VIC in accordance with ACECQA
