In-Field Training Area Assistant (Fixed-Term, Part-Time)
About this role
The purpose of this role is to support the work of salvation and exaltation by providing administrative assistance to the Philippines and Asia Areas of the In-field Mentoring Program. The position handles routine administrative tasks and resolves basic issues and concerns, applying foundational knowledge of administrative support processes and procedures.
Typical responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Use computer apps and software to schedule meetings and appointments and maintain calendars
- Review and approve or reject mentor leave and time off requests
- Assist with interviewing, hiring, and onboarding of new In-field Mentors
- Approve In-field Mentor timecards (DTR)
- Report to the Regional Office Coordinator
- Must hold a current Temple recommend (required)
- Fluent in English (required)
- 2-3 years post high school education
- 2-3 years diverse clerical experience or equivalent demonstrating the following skills:
- Computer skills and experience including Windows and Microsoft applications
- Communicate professionally in writing and verbally
- Problem solve and resolve basic conflicts and problems
- Interact and work with others in a productive and professional way
- Work with discretion and confidentiality
