Are you an experienced import operator with a passion for logistics and supply chain management? Rohlig Antwerp is looking for a driven professional who will be responsible for coordinating and executing import activities, managing customs formalities, and optimizing the import process.
What you will do:
- Coordinating and following up on import shipments from A to Z
- Handling customs formalities and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations
- Maintaining communication with clients and other logistics partners
- Processing documents and reports, with good knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with Cargosoft/EDI and a Cargo Wise certification is a big plus
- Identifying and resolving potential issues during the import process
- Contributing to process improvements and efficiency enhancements within the department
- Ensuring timely and accurate delivery of goods
What you bring:
- 2-3 years of experience as an import operator or in a similar role
- Knowledge of customs procedures and international logistics
- Good communication skills in Dutch and English; French is a plus
- Strong analytical skills and organizational abilities
- Proactive and problem-solving skills
