About the job

Delart is home to a team of world-class engineers and project leaders dedicated to developing the next generation of advanced networking technologies, consumer devices, and innovative technology solutions. Trusted by some of the world’s leading technology companies, we deliver highly scalable, mission-critical solutions that power both consumer and business applications globally. Since our founding in 2017, we have been at the forefront of designing cutting-edge networking, telecommunications, and consumer products, while driving end-to-end project execution and creating transformative technology applications.

Overview

Drive the validation and characterization of power subsystems for cutting-edge consumer electronics, establishing power measurement strategies and developing robust automation frameworks from early prototype to mass production. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure power delivery solutions meet stringent KPIs and contribute to the efficient, reliable operation of leading consumer devices.

Responsibilities

  • Validate, characterize, and optimize power delivery circuits and subsystems at all stages of product development, from proof-of-concept to OK2Ship.
  • Bring up, debug, and validate complex power circuitry on prototype hardware platforms.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain automated frameworks for power measurement and test case execution, with a strong focus on Python-based automation.
  • Capture and analyze power consumption data across diverse usage scenarios, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Execute comprehensive validation test plans, reporting findings and tracking issues using industry-standard bug tracking systems.
  • Perform root cause analysis for power, SoC/memory, and mixed-signal component issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Generate, maintain, and continuously improve validation test plans, reports, and detailed test instructions.
  • Interface with Power and Performance architects, hardware and software engineers, and manufacturing to support mass production readiness and sustained product performance.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience validating power subsystems in consumer electronics.
  • Proficient with laboratory equipment including oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, electronic loads, DAQ systems, function generators, and thermal chambers.
  • In-depth knowledge of voltage regulators, including Buck and Boost converters, LDOs, load switches, and fuel gauges.
  • Practical experience with board-level SoC power rails and embedded power management concepts.
  • Strong grasp of communication protocols: I2C, SPI, UART; able to debug/interact with hardware over these interfaces.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience designing and executing power validation test plans.
  • 3+ years experience automating hardware validation using Python (including test framework development and integration).
  • Familiarity with ADB; Shell scripting experience is a plus.
  • Familiarity with battery management systems, power profiling tools, and current sense techniques at the board/system level.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of automated test equipment integration (e.g., GPIB, VISA, remote instrument control libraries in Python).
  • Experience validating power in high-volume mass production settings and shipping consumer devices.
  • Background in SoC/PMIC power domain mapping, rail sequencing, and power-related system-level debugging.
  • Experience generating KPIs and comprehensive validation reports for power consumption and efficiency.
