Position Summary The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, servicing, and maintaining residential heating and cooling systems while delivering an outstanding customer experience. The ideal candidate is technically strong, customer-focused, and takes pride in helping homeowners solve their comfort issues. Responsibilities Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems Perform preventative maintenance and seasonal tune-ups Service furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, mini-split systems, and indoor air quality equipment Educate homeowners on repair and replacement options Present solutions that best meet customer needs Complete service calls efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Maintain accurate service records and job documentation Communicate effectively with dispatch and management teams Maintain a clean, organized, and professional company vehicle Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities Qualifications 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience preferred EPA Certification required Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Experience servicing furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, boilers, and mini-splits Excellent customer service and communication skills Ability to explain technical issues and recommendations to homeowners Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently and as part of a team NATE Certification is a plus What We Offer Competitive compensation Performance-based incentives Company vehicle Company phone and tablet Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays Paid time off Ongoing training and professional development Career advancement opportunities Stable, year-round work Why A Comfort Service?
